Vape Community is an independent editorial publication and community directory. This policy explains how we create our content, how we handle sponsored placements and partnerships, and how we keep our editorial judgment separate from commercial relationships. Trust matters to us, and clear disclosure is how we earn it.
Editorial independence
Our editorial team decides what we cover and how we cover it. Advertisers, sponsors, and listed businesses do not control our reporting, reviews, or opinions. A commercial relationship never guarantees favorable coverage, and paying for a listing or feature does not buy a positive review.
How we choose what to cover
We cover brands, products, shops, and topics we believe are relevant and useful to the vaping community. Selection is based on editorial interest — newsworthiness, reader demand, and community value — not on whether a business advertises with us.
Sponsored content and partnerships
Some content on the Site is sponsored or produced in partnership with a brand. Whenever money, free products, or another material benefit is involved, we label the content clearly and conspicuously — for example, with a “Sponsored”, “Paid partnership”, or “In partnership with” notice near the top of the piece — so you always know when you are reading a paid placement. This follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance that material connections be disclosed clearly and up front.
Featured brands and directory placements
Certain positions on the Site, such as featured brand pages or promoted directory listings, may be paid placements. Where a placement is paid, we identify it as featured or promoted. Standard directory entries and editorial articles are separate from paid placements and are marked accordingly.
Affiliate and referral relationships
If we ever include affiliate or referral links — links that may earn us a commission when you click through — we will disclose that relationship on the relevant page. Affiliate relationships never change our editorial assessment of a product or business.
Accuracy, fact-checking, and corrections
We aim to be accurate and fair. If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. To request a correction or flag an error, email us at info@angularchicago.com with the details, and we will review and update the content where appropriate.
An age-restricted, no-sales publication
Vape Community is intended for adults aged 21 and older and does not sell vaping products. Our content is informational and is not an inducement to buy or use any product. Nothing on the Site should be read as medical or health advice.
