Before we publish a review, every disposable goes through the same checklist. Transparency about how we test is part of keeping our coverage independent and useful — and it is the reason our scores are comparable across devices.

Key takeaways

  • Four criteria, applied identically to every device we score.
  • A high puff-count claim counts for nothing on its own.
  • We never accept payment for a favorable score.

The four things we judge

We look at draw feel, flavor accuracy, consistency from first puff to last, and how gracefully a device fades as it nears the end of its life. A high puff-count means little if the experience drops off early.

  • Draw feel — how the device responds, whether it is even, and whether it turns harsh under repeated use.
  • Flavor accuracy — whether a flavor tastes like what it claims to be, rather than generically sweet.
  • Consistency — how much the experience drifts between the first third and the last.
  • End of life — whether it fades predictably with warning, or simply stops.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment for a favorable score, and a brand overview is never an endorsement. Ratings reflect our hands-on impressions, and we note when a device was provided for testing.

We also do not publish specifications we have not verified. Where a manufacturer claim cannot be checked, we leave it out rather than repeat it.

How to read our scores

Scores are relative to the disposable category, not to vaping hardware generally. A device scoring in the low eights is a genuinely good disposable; the differences between an 8.0 and an 8.8 are real but narrow, and the written review explains where they come from. Read the criteria breakdown rather than only the number.

The bottom line

Same four checks, every device, every time. That is what makes the numbers mean anything.

All reviews are written for adults 21+. We do not sell the products we cover.
